Hello Church. I miss you! As I walked through the sanctuary recently, this thought choked me up: what a celebration it will be when we can gather together once again in person! Until then, we meet in new and different ways–but we will stay more connected than ever. For the past three Sundays we have been livestreaming our Worship Service at 10:00 am on Facebook LIVE, or you can click on our YouTube Channel (the link is at the top), after 3:00 PM each Sunday. Praise God for this new avenue of ministry!
Until we are able to meet again in person, there are four ways to give to help us maintain our monthly budget: (1) mail your offering to the church (mail is delivered in a secure, locked box); (2) notify one of the leaders if you want us to come in person and pick up your offering; (3) text 84321 and enter the amount you would like to give and press “send” (you will receive a text message); click on the web address to set up your “text to give” account on Churchcenter.com; amount will automatically go into the General Fund unless you specify MS for Missions or BF for Building Fund when entering the amount (4) use a mobile app (download the Church Center Mobile App through your app store; once downloaded, click on the app and search for Mentone Faith Chapel and select; it will take you to a home page and you will have the opportunity to click on “give” to enter your desired amount–it will ask for your banking or credit card information; it will allow you to make a “one-time” gift or you can set up automatic weekly, every other week, twice monthly or monthly gifts. It will also allow you to designate monies to the General Fund, Missions, or Building Fund. This is not something we like to dwell on but it is a necessary factor in our church remaining strong over the days and weeks ahead. Thanks for your giving.
Here’s some much needed good news: this is My Father’s world; God is in control; God is on the throne; He’s got the whole world in His hands; AND, Jesus Christ is coming again! Times like these remind us that “…these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:8), and His return is closer now than it’s ever been! As Christ’s coming draws nearer, things are not going to get easier; the fact of the matter, is that things are going to get tougher. That’s why we must all fix our eyes on Jesus!
This coming Wednesday, April 1st at 7:00 pm, I will be bringing you “SOMETHING FROM THE SANCTUARY”. I pray this will encourage your hearts. Stay strong! Stay well! We will soon be back together again! Pastor Keith
