PASTOR’S LETTER REGARDING RE-GATHERING

« Back to Letters

Hello Church! Great news–We will be re-launching Mentone Faith Chapel for in-person Worship Services starting Sunday, June 21 [Father’s Day] for those who are ready to come! Here’s some more great news–we will continue to broadcast the 10:00 AM Worship Service on Facebook live, and then upload it later that day to our YouTube Channel (Mentone Faith Chapel) for those who are not ready to come back, yet! You have my respect and understanding either way.

We are also planning to offer an in-person Tuesday afternoon Worship Service at 1:00 PM for anyone 60 years of age or older. This will be a duplicate of the Sunday service (i.e. same worship songs, same sermon)–so there’s no need to attend both on a Sunday and also on a Tuesday; it’s one or the other. The idea in offering this, though, is to make it as convenient as possible for anyone in that age group who wishes to attend in-person with others in the same age-group.

If your intention is to attend an in-person Worship Service at Mentone Faith Chapel on Sunday, June 21st (or the Tuesday option on June 23), please indicate your intention in the following manner:

*Call, Text or Email Pastor Keith, Julie or Leslie; or call or email the church–between 8:00 AM Monday, June 8th and 12:00 PM Thursday, June 11th. After reservations close (on Thursday, June 11 at 12:00 PM) we will process those notifications, granting first access based on time of reservation. We will then notify each household with confirmation details.

Here’s our contact information: *Pastor Keith: phone [call or text] 909-648-1911; email: keithshort1@msn.com; Julie: phone [call or text] 909-800-2413; email: julieshort1@msn.com; Leslie: phone [call or text] 760-562-5321; email: leslieabrewer@msn.com; Church: phone [call only] 909-794-0296; email (mentonefaithchapel@yahoo.com)

We will be separately contacting those of you who have indicated a willingness to serve on our “Re-Assembly” Ministry Team, to inform you of the details of our training plans.

Ok? Does that sound like a plan? We love you and we are very excited to take this next step until we are at our usual church service schedule. Pastor Keith
